About Phulaich Fair-History Phulaich Fair
Phulaich Fair known as Phulaich Festival that is associated with the act of remembering the ones who has passed away. Colourful stalls and participants from the nearby areas throng the place during the Festival. The fair is celebrated with great fervour by the locals. The festivities start with villagers going on mountain top and collecting Ladra flowers. Animals are also sacrificed. The relatives offer wine, rice and food to the deceased which are later distributed among the poor. The village people gather to visit the Dhangaspa family house and show their respect by garlanding the family members. People are also seen playing drums and blowing bugles to greet the team that climbed the hill top to collect the Ladra flowers.
Throughout the fair several dances are performed by the people, carrying war weapons depicting ancient war scenes.
