Daughter’s day will Celebration on 23 Saptember2012.
Daughter’s Day is a community-driven initiative. The mission of Daughters Day is for the elimination of gender inequality, violence, and discrimination against girls and women at home, at school, in the workplace, and on the street. We will also be celebrating achievements and successes of girls and women onDaughters Day.
We also observe that the issues of gender inequality, as well as violence against girls, have drawn the attention of United Nations and most recently the governments representing G20 countries. Every day we celebrate in our country has a relevance but probably daughters day is the day which seems funny.
Can you tell me a state in India except Kerala where girl to boy ratio is more than 1:1.
How can we celebrate a day which has opposite conditions. I means can we celebrate daughters day when most fathers in our country are killing their daughter before their birth ?
No way. We should first do some home work to teach people and to teach them how important a girl child in our family.
Not only important but the base of the family is a girl or lady. Can you imagine a family without woman. No its not possible.
So everyone at its best possible level should come forward and must try its best to improve current thinking of people about girls.
Here I am providing some common reasons why girls don’t have position they deserve for in our society.
Happy Daughter’s Day to a smart,
