Celebration Taj Festival
The Taj Mahotsav is a non-stop 10 day carnival held annually at Shilpgram, near Tajmahal. This year Taj Mahotsav is start Today and continues upto 28th February.Taj Mahotsav is a 10 day festival celebrated to promote tourism to the magnificientTaj Mahal. Taj Mahal is amongst ‘Seven Wonders of the World’ and a ‘World Heritage Site’.
Taj Mahotsav is organised by Taj Mahotsav Samiti which works under the U.P tourism department. The main objective of this festival is promote Taj Mahal as a must visit tourism destination, provide encouragement to the local artisans & folk musicians and re-invent the great Mughal culture of Agra.
The 10 days of festivities attracts visitors from all over the world. Thousands of local indian tourist including some of the Indian celebreties from the film industry visit the festival.
