Dashera Recipe Navratri Rayta
Ingredients
1 cup thick Curd
3 Boiled, chopped Water Chestnuts
1 small Potato – boiled, chopped
1 chopped small Cucumber
½ tbsp roasted Peanuts
1 Small sweet Potato – boiled, chopped
2 chopped Green Chillies
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds powder
1/2 tsp Whole Cumin Seeds
½ tbsp finely chopped Coriander
½ tsp Oil
Sugar to taste
Salt to taste
Method
1.In a bowl,beat the curd and add the sugar, chillies, cumin powder, salt and mix well.
2.Add all the vegetables, peanuts, mix well and chill the mixture.
3.Heat the oil in pan, add the cumin seeds and allow to crackle.
4.Pour over the raita immediately and stir.
5.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
