Satyagraha College, Sector 19, Kharghar will be venue for celebration to mark birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar on April 14, 2011.
There are plenty of cultural programmes organized by city Buddhist community.
Professor Venkat Mane and Vivek Girdhari, will be part of discussion on ‘Dr Ambedkar as an effective teacher.’ Dr GK Dongargaonkar, chief advisor of the Buddhist student’s federation, said, “April 14 is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar but we consider it the day from when mankind was enlightened with new thoughts.
We will also be having a cultural programme where college students will be seen singing various songs and dancing. This will be followed by lunch for all.
One can never forget that Ambedkar who was the first law minister of India and chairman of the Constitution’s drafting committee.” Free training is being organized for all candidates who will be appearing for the ‘Bachelor of Education (B.ed) entrance test.
