Mumbai is all set to bid farewell to its favourite god – Lord Ganesha on Anant Chaturdashi on Today Saturday, September 18, 2013.
On this day Idols of Lord Ganesha are immersed in nearby sea, lake or pond to mark and end to the 11-day long celebrations of Ganeshotsav. This is known as Ganesh Visarjan, Ganesh immersion or Ganapati Nimajjan.
