Twice every year,the main squre of the city of siena in Itly is the scene of a horce race named after the palio or clock awarded to the winner.Horsemen from ten districts ride bareback,competing with each other in a contest that dates back to the 15th century.Before the race,there is a parade and display of flag-waving.
