Dashera2012 Recipe Sprouted moog dal sundal
1 cup – sprouted moong dal
1 tsp – Mustard
1 tbsp – Black gram dal
Asafoetida, a pinch
3 – Red chillies
Curry leaves, small quantity
Grated/shredded coconut, small quantity
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard seeds, black gram dal, curry leaves, asafoetida, red chillies and finally moong dal.
Add little salt to it and mix them well.
This can be served as snacks item in the evening. This is offered to God and prepared during festival seasons.
Ingredients

Method
Soak moong dal in water for 8 hours. Keep in pressure cooker adding little salt.
Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard seeds, black gram dal, curry leaves, asafoetida, red chillies and finally moong dal.
