Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated to commemorate the birth of Hanuman, the monkey god all over the world. It is celebrated during the month of Chaitra, Purnima.and large celebration Hanuman Temple.
Lord Hanuman also called Maruti, combination of strength, wisdom and service. Hanuman Jayanti Puja is celebrated to honor the birth of Lord Hanuman.
Lord Hanuman is the symbol of strength and energy.
Lord Hanuman is said to be able to think any form at will, wield rocks, move mountains, dart through the air, seize the clouds and rival Vishnu’s bird, Garuda in swiftness off light. Hanuman symbolizes the qualities of an ideal devotee of God.
The devotees will visit temples and apply tilak of sindhoor to their foreheads from the Hanumans body as this is considered to be good luck.
